The VAU Beauty Story
Founder, Vanessa Au has worked on various roles within the beauty industry for over 6 years before she left the industry on a pursuit to follow her passion and fascination for offering the beauty market something more than just the industry average beauty products.
A perfectionist at heart, she eventually became frustrated with the limited quality of professional beauty tools and cosmetics available in the market.
'It was so difficult to find a makeup brush that I could truly be satisfied with. Most of the ones available were made from artificial bristles that would last no longer than 6 months before the hairs all started to fall out. Other brushes would leave behind marks of inconsistent blending and the ones at the top end department stores were just way too expensive to afford. I wanted to develop a make up brush range that consumers could trust. A brush range that the make up artists would feel comfortable using, feel proud to flaunt around but at the same time it had to be affordable for even a beginner make up artist'.
